Our Story

Every year, 1 in 5 youth will experience a mental health issue. Many will try to seek help online, only to discover spurious self-diagnostic surveys and long wait times to see a professional. But what if mental health did not have to be so inaccessible?

MindPaw is a youth mindfulness app driven by AI for self-reflection and emotional understanding. Positive psychology tools such as gratitude expression and journaling help you increase desired emotions like joy and contentment. MindPaw offers AI-driven journaling and emotional understanding to uncover hidden emotional patterns and improve mood and self-awareness.

We crafted MindPaw out of a desire for youth to have the tools to approach mental health in a diversified and playful way. Life can sometimes feel lonely. MindPaw allows you to keep a constant companion — a pet you can name and customize, feed and nurture, play and chat with — by your side. MindPaw gently nudges you to reflect on your day. It provides sheer joyful and engaging interaction.
